Registration Client Settings
Go to Registration client settings:
In a new installation, there will be at least one setup. In an existing installation, especially with several locations and terminals, there might be more. Edit the setup:
If you are going to use printer and/or scanner, enable it. Specify printer name:
..and scanner COM port:
Save the configuration.
NOTE: this article does not describe all settings in details. The fine-tuning is normally done by Adaptive consultants.
Download and install the client
Download and extract client software from the self registration settings page:
Place the folder to a location from where you want it to run, for example to C:\onVisit\registration
Run the file Adaptive.onVisit.UIClient.Wpf.exe
When run for the first time, Windows will ask you if you really want to run this file. Answer Yes.
You will see this:
Authorize client i adminweb
Go to "Registration clients":
There you will see your new client. Register it.
Edit it and give it a client setup that you configured earlier:
Give it a meaningful name and save.
Your client will load the settings from the setup.
Your client might be out of scale. Zoom in or out by holding in CTRL and pressing arrows Up or Down.
If desired, create a shortcut of the Adaptive.onVisit.UIClient.Wpf.exe file on desktop and place it into autostart folder so that onVisit starts when the machine starts.
You can close the application by pressing Alt + F4 on a keyboard, if you have one, or by starting a registration, typing ++4 in Mobile phone field and pressing Next.
